Love and War

A new cover for the 1992 New Adventure 'Love and War' by Paul Cornell. A lot of the NAs had slightly iffy covers, and this book's, while by no means one of the worst, always struck me as a bit garish considering the subject matter. I've kept the same elements as the original but rejigged, with a Hoothi that looks a bit less like a marauding shag-pile rug. This story's probably most significant for introducing Bernice Summerfield, who'd accompany the Doctor for most of the rest of the novel range. I've tried to make her look a bit more like an archaeologist than she did in the original. She recently appeared on TV in 'Silence in the Library' but she was in disguise and calling herself River Song, for some reason. She crazy, that Benny....
